Phototherapy (light therapy) is becoming increasingly popular in the treatment of many conditions, most notably musculoskeletal conditions.  Phototherapy works by pulsing different wavelengths of light energy through the tissue for a specific amount of time.

Low-level laser therapy is quick, easy and pain-free, and offers several mechanisms of healing, including increases in local microcirculation, acceleration of tissue repair, pain alleviation, stimulation of endorphins and enzymatic responses, and reduction in inflammation and edema, while enhancing the immune response.

Common conditions treated with the Laser include tendonitis (ie. golfers/tennis elbow), rotator cuff injuries, arthritis (ie. knee, wrist), headaches/migraines, and sprains and strains.
